Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Carol is currently in a foster home so she is not at the shelter. If you think Carol would be a good match for your home please fill out an online application and we can setup a meeting so you can meet with Carol. Carol loves walks in quiet areas, and after her walk, is content to snuggle on the couch or lounge around the yard. She is sweet and affectionate, and warms up easily to new human friends. It's a more gradual process with dogs, but she has some calm walking buddies. Her ideal people will be willing to take their time introducing her to new things and helping her feel safe and confident. If something worries her, you can tell by her body language and easily move her to a spot where she can observe her surroundings and become familiar. Her ideal home will be a low traffic, adult home with no other pets and a fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood. She has learned several training games that help her, and her adoption will include training sessions so her new family will be taught these skills so that they can continue her training. Carol is making excellent progress in adjusting to her new life in New England, but it is a gradual process and she will need a supportive family. Do you think you could be that family for her?
