Charlie came into the shelter with his brother Linus and several other young cats from a situation where they had never been socialized. Since then, Charlie and Linus have been in a foster home with the hope that they would learn to trust people and be able to live as loved members of a family. They have both made wonderful progress and are ready for their forever home. Charlie is the shier of the pair. Although young, he is quiet and reserved. He will allow petting and likes to be brushed, but he seems happiest if he is able to spend time near you watching as you go about your day. He loves to lie on the bathroom counter in the mornings watching your every move. With time, he will likely be just as affectionate as his brother, who he depends on to give him confidence. Both Charlie and Linus will need more time to adjust to a new environment than a fully socialized cat would. They feel secure in their foster home but will need to learn that a new home is just as safe. The same holds true for their new people. Charlie and Linus do not have to be adopted together but Charlie would really benefit if they were.

As long the pet is spayed/neutered, you can take them home the same day.
