Linus came into the shelter with his brother Charlie and several other young cats from a situation where they had never been socialized. Since then, Linus and Charlie have been in a foster home with the hope that they would learn to trust people and be able to live as loved members of a family. They have both made wonderful progress and are ready for their forever home. Linus is the more outgoing of the pair. He was the first to allow his foster mom to pet him and he has since become very affectionate and outgoing. He wants to explore and the more freedom he is given, the more he wants. He loves treats and to be brushed and has developed a curiosity of water....in the sink as well as the shower. He likes to sneak inand lick up the water afterwards and will sometimes even go so far as to try and get in the shower while it is turned on. Both Linus and Charlie will need more time to adjust to a new environment than a fully socialized cat would. They feel secure in their foster home but will need to learn that a new home is just as safe. The same holds true for their new people. Linus and Charlie do not have to be adopted together but Charlie would really benefit if they were. He depends on Linus so much and would be lost without him.
