Just look into my hazel eyes! I have to admit I am handsome but don't want to brag too much! The staff loves him. He is big sweetie. Taj is non-reactive to kids, dogs and all people. He also walks very well on lead. He knows many commands such as sit, down, speak. He is very eager to please his people. Come visit this guy today. Taj has a regular dog day out and the volunteers love him! He is so deserving of a home of his own. Taj adoption fee is sponsored.

Taj is four years old and weighs 80 pounds.

Taj’s adoption fee is covered by a generous donor. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting a dog, please stop by the shelter during open hours. Dogs may be in a foster home, therefore scheduling an appointment is recommended. If you have an existing dog at home, we recommend bringing it along to meet your possible new family member.

· Have identification showing your present address
· Have the knowledge and consent of your landlord
· Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide medical treatment and proper care of the pet.

We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.

Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.

Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
