My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


August was adopted from the Pasadena Humane Society on 11/16/23 (neutered 11/9/23). Originally feral, he was intended to be part of their Trap&Release program (his clipped ear indicates he has been fixed), but he’s so friendly and sweet that they knew he was adoptable.

August has all his adult teeth and has super playful energy, so likely 1-2 years old.

Unfortunately, my 9-yo cat has not been able to acclimate to August. He wants to play; she does not and has grown unbearably stressed.

I believe August deserves a better home where he isn’t constantly shut away from the rest of the family.

August loves cuddling. He prefers to sleep on or around people. He is social (he was kenneled with two other young cats), adaptable (not at all picky), resiliently athletic (can scale up a 6ft wall) and good-natured (chill with manhandling, doesn’t even protest nail clipping).

He is a sweetheart that deserves more love and attention.
