Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This wonderful little girl is a short, stocky and a confident but needs guidance in what you expect in her.
Loves cuddling, jumping on the sofa and car rides.
Now spayed, microchipped and vaccined for a year.
Their short coat requires minimal grooming.
She is impressively muscular and but very agile.
Tilda has a very happy, outgoing, stable and confident personality . She is loving toward people but doesn’t like to be crated nor being left alone for very long.
She gets along great with other dogs big and small.
She is a bit of a hog and will gobble her food up fast and will try to steal the other dogs treats so I highly recommend feeding in a secure area away from the other dogs. It will important to not let her to become obese. Obesity can cause her to develop airway obstruction.
You will also noticed a very bulldog underbite, which is believed to be hereditary for her. it’s called Class 3 Malocclusion, a dental issue where the lower teeth stick out beyond the upper teeth.
However, this hasn’t caused any difficulties in vocalizing her desire to get out of the crate. 😂
Dental heath will need to be a high priority as dogs with underbites such as hers need extra care for their teeth compared to dogs with regular bites. This is because there’s a higher chance of dental issues.
In addition, this breed of dog can not live outdoors! They have heat intolerance and have easily have a heat stroke if left outside during hot days and develop pneumonia if left outside in the rain or cold.
Matilda MUST be an indoor dog. She is house trained but doesn’t like to potty unless you are watching her while outside.
She wants to know you won’t leave her.
If you think you can be her momma or pops please feel free to complete an adoption questionnaire from our website www.rusticrovertn.com under forms
She is currently 8 months old & 22 pounds
