Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meow! My name is Hurley! Your bread bags will tremble in fear before me, as I LOVE food and will do anything for a snacky snack! If you`re offering me food we will be fast friends; and I love following my people around I have a lot to say so be ready to listen. I like to sleep with my foster family at the foot of the bed each night. Attention is wonderful, however, I would do best in a home where my boundaries are respected. Bring some fun and some food into my life and I would be happy to stay forever! I`d prefer to be the only pet in the home, please!
How did I get here? Transferred from York County Animal Control after coming to them as a stray.
**I have tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), but the good news is I can still live a long normal cat life! Speak with an adoption specialist for more information. I am currently living in a foster home! Please schedule an appointment to meet me **
~My adoption fee is $65.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
