My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Koda, a one-year-old Husky with a whole lot of energy and love to share. My previous family didn't have enough time for me, which is why I'm looking for a new home that can keep up with my active lifestyle.

I'm a big fan of rubber balls and can play with them for hours. However, if I don't have plenty to do, I can become a bit of a chewer, so keeping me entertained is key! I'm pretty calm during bath time, which I hear is a great trait for a Husky like me. Car rides are another favorite of mine, and I get quite active when we're on the move.

Now, I have a bit of a reputation as an escape artist. I've managed to run away three times and even broke a back window trying to get inside. It's just that I love being with my people so much that I'll do whatever it takes to be close to them. I've been known to jump through windows, so it's important that I'm not left alone outside. I really want to be your constant companion and shadow.

I'm an active boy who would thrive in a household that can match my energy levels and give me lots of attention and enrichment. I do well in a crate, which helps keep me safe and out of trouble when you're not around. I'm also treat-motivated and love to learn new tricks-I've already mastered "shake"!

I get along well with other dogs, which means I could fit nicely into a home with canine siblings. However, I'm not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home would be best for me. I love to sit on laps and soak up all the love and affection you can give.

When I go out for walks, I'm full of energy and excitement. I sometimes pull on the leash, but with some consistent training and positive reinforcement, I'm sure we can work on that together. I'm very friendly and enjoy meeting new people and dogs along the way.

If you're looking for a loyal, active, and loving companion who will always want to be by your side, then I might just be the perfect match for you. Let's meet and see if we can start our next adventure together!
