Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Foster Notes: She is a 3 year old mix that is a very active dog. She needs an active home with a fenced in yard. She loves to go for rides in the car and gets along well with other dogs. She can play rough with the roughest of dogs but does not like being dominated. She does well with my cat but she is never left unattended with her so I would not guarantee this. She is housebroken and crate trained. I’ve been trying to put weight on her to little avail. She’s been wormed regularly, she is on heartworm meds, immunized, spayed and microchipped. I did have a DNA on her and she is German Shepherd, Bloodhound mix with Some Doberman and chow way back.
She is very protective of the property and alerts. If you are looking for a good watch dog, she is the girl.
I have never had her around children but I can’t imagine her not getting along with children. I would worry more about her knocking them over.
