My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well, Zhoward loved the streets but the streets didn't love Zhoward. He came to SCAT with an infected animal bite behind his ear, ear mites with a secondary ear infection, a broken tooth, a corresponding missing tooth, and a blood parasite - a lot for a 2 year old boy! He is currently taking some medications for all his ailments and is booked to have his tooth fixed.
He is settling into his foster home and figuring out indoor life. He is loving the amenities and maid service and figuring out how to behave like an indoor boy.
Zhoward should hopefully be medically cleared for adoption around mid-February and in the meantime we are testing him socially and figuring out what type of home he will thrive in.
For now we think young children might not be best fit, and we are not sure yet about other cats.
Watch his progress on Instagram at @leslies_lemons.

More about this rescue

Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
