My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The foster for Sally Jo will be bringing her to the shelter on Tuesdays and Saturdays so she can been seen by the public and hopefully be adopted. He will drop her off by 10 and will pick her up before 5 pm.

Meet Sally Jo, the lovable 4-years-old German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her personality. This affectionate sweetheart adores snuggling up for pets, rolling over for belly rubs, and giving gentle nudges for scratches. Sally Jo is always excited to meet new people and never says no to a tasty treat.

She’s a well-mannered girl, housebroken, and walks beautifully on a leash. Sally Jo knows some commands like sit and paw, and she’s always eager to learn more for a tasty treat. Curious about the world around her, Sally Jo loves chasing squirrels and enjoys playful interactions with other animals. Her excitement is always harmless and full of fun. She is cat friendly so that might be helpful information for potential adopters.

In her foster home, Sally Jo has been curious about the resident cat. While they’ve been separated by a gate, Sally Jo has grown much calmer around her feline friend. The two have even started sharing close spaces, with the cat sitting on top of the gate and Sally Jo contentedly standing nearby.

If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion Sally Jo is ready to fill your life with joy, cuddles, and a whole lot of love.
