My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We always have Barn and Farm cats to place! Most of these are cats who are not friendly with people, although many do become so over time. These cats live outside primarily and help reduce rodent populations often found on farms.

Barns, feed stores, warehouses or any building that offers a cat escape from weather and predators is ideal for placement. We like to place in pairs but that is not required. The cats in this photo are shy/timid with people but not aggressive and would do best in a barn or farm home, not as a house cat.

Callie has been adopted! She became friendly with her daily feeder on the street and will likely bond with her new caregivers in her barn home. Interested in adopting barn/farm cats? Click here to submit our short application!

More about this rescue

We are a brand new non profit 501C3 cat rescue formed in January of 2024! We are an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue of abandoned and homeless cats in Bridgeport and surrounding communities. We provide food, shelter, foster homes, vet care, and eventual placement into loving homes.

We actively participate in T(trap), N(neuter), R(release) of feral cats and strive to find barn homes for those who can not be returned to their original location. We promote spaying and neutering as the only way to end overpopulation and the needless suffering of unwanted cats. We further stress the importance of education to address appropriate physical and environmental needs of cats and kittens.

AATC hopes to partner with other rescues in our area! We are interested in collaboration, not competition, with the goal to help more cats together than we can individually.
