Moonpie MELTS hearts! She may be big and chunky, but don't be fooled, she's gentle as can be. Moonpie got her name because she's so squishy and sweet. Her irresistible chubby cheeks make it hard to get any work done! She's just so happy to be safe and loved. She's affectionate and friendly to everyone she meets. She ignores the kitties she sees in her foster home and she has learned to sit on command and she practices it every day. She loves to take walks, play ball, get loved on, and play with other dogs. Moonpie really feels her most confident with at least one other dog around and otherwise doesn't love to be left home alone, so we do feel it's important her forever home has another canine and an adopter who is home a lot. . Moonpie is in foster care with little kids and she adores them and she is fully potty trained. She will be a wonderful addition to a lucky family!

Moonpie is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. She has tested positive for heartworms, has been treated and will soon after be ready to go to her forever home. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
