Hi everyone, my name is Callie. I am a beautiful, very sweet, 1-year-old, spayed female, calico cat in need of a home and someone to love for life. I would dearly love to become part of your family. I am a calm little girl and I like to play quietly with my toys. I get along well with other cats, and one of my favorite things would be to cuddle next to you or on your lap. I am a really good lapcat. Whenever I am petted, I purr with delight. I haven’t been around dogs, but with proper introductions, I believe I could adjust just fine to a dog who is nice to me. I would probably do best in a quieter home, as it matches my mellow cat-itude. I am up to date on all my vaccines, FIV/Felv tested, spayed and I always use my litter box like a good girl. Apply today and you'll be so glad you did! Adoption fee: $75. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten
as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
