Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome, crazy, absolutely loving boy needs a foster or a forever home. His smile is slowly fading living in a kennel . He is becoming depressed living the kennel life, we truly don’t understand why he hasn’t been adopted! Kingston is one of the most amazing dogs we have, he has so much potential and wants to be a family dog – we just want to see this boy blossom.
He is a puller on a leash, I will admit. You would pull on a leash too, though, if you were as intrigued in life as Kingston is. He loves to play, cuddle, explore, and run! I spend every day with him, and I have no clue as to why he has not been chosen by someone yet. He really is best friend material. He will never let you down even though he has been let down by human after human. Kingston is the ‘kennel’ clown; I have never seen him without a smile on his face (except for when he was super sick), he will bark and wag his tail just wanting your attention, and the minute you let him out he will jump around because he is just SOOO happy! Kingston may need boundaries at first due to living in a kennel for so long, but we have no doubt that with the proper decompression and someone to show him he can trust them, he will thrive so much!
SPOILER: HE GIVES HUGS!! Like the BEST hugs!
Name: Kingston
Breed: Bully/lab mix
Weight: 75lbs
Gender: Male
Age: 4 years old
Energy Level: High
Medical (shots etc.): UTD
Good with dogs: Yes, with proper introductions
Good with cats: No
Good with kids: Yes, but older as he's a jumper and can knock small kids down (he doesn’t realize his size)
Good with strangers: Yes
Guarding Issues: No
House Trained: Yes
Crate Trained: Yes
Destructive: No
Leash skills: He's a puller. We keep working with him but without a prong, he's very difficult to walk – He is just the happiest boy and can’t contain him self but after a couple of minutes he is much easier to walk
Okay with manipulations: Yes, he loves food!
Known commands: Sit and Paw
Behavior Issues: Very high energy and would thrive with an active family as he will need lots of exercise, or a backyard!
Medical issues: No
Other Observations:
Very smart and very observant. Kingston has the potential to grow above where he is today. With the right handler, he’ll be even more amazing. Kingston is not for novice dog owners. Must be experienced with high-energy large dogs.
