My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Minda was surrendered by her owner to Feline Matchmakers because she deficated outside the box (but pees IN the box.) Her ultrasound revealed that she has mild IBD, Irritable Bowel Disease, so we changed her diet to a grain free one. She was teaming with an intestinal parasite, which is now treated and gone. She is feeling much better now and uses a large litter box just fine. Occassionaly she still bunny hops out of the litter box and drops a small stool that was hanging on her fur.

Minda will need to remain an indoor kitty and have plenty of stimulation like a cat tree, tall scratching post and interactive activities. She will need grooming as often as possible, and enjoys it when she's in the mood.

All Feline Matchmakers cats are tested, spayed, chipped and up to date on vaccinations. For those over 21 in the Wilmington, NC area, adoption applications are taken at felinematchmakers.org

More about this rescue

Faith McNitt started Feline Matchmakers in January of 2020. We are a small organization that focuses on owner surrenders. The larger organizations focus on shelter pulls, so we feel this is the most needed service in Wilmington, NC. We also work TNR cases in small numbers. We are looking for fosters to build our organization. All fosters work on a charity basis, as we do not yet have the funding to pay for anything other than medical expenses. If interested in joining us to save cats from being euthenized or put in shelters, please contact us.
