Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thank you for your interest in adopting Jolie. Please note that Jolie is an international rescue, so when your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from an airport such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, ONT, IAH, YVR, etc. The process of international adoption may seem daunting, but we have many years of experience and would be happy to guide you through it.
Jolie's mother was found tied up and kept in terrible conditions by her previous owner, who did not bother to spay her or provide proper care. It's unclear how many litters she had, as most of her puppies either drowned or died due to road accidents. Fortunately, a kind lady spotted Jolie and reached out to us for help. Jolie was in a vulnerable state, born without a front leg and living in a harsh environment with limited access to food and clean water.
We immediately took Jolie in and provided her with the best medical care possible to prepare her for future adoption. Today, Jolie is a happy and energetic dog who spreads positivity everywhere she goes. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, and especially enjoys going on walks with her human. When introduced to a new environment, she may be initially shy but warms up quickly. We recommend using an escape-proof dog harness when she's in a new place. Jolie also rides well in cars and is patient when her human runs errands at home. She is crate-trained and prefers to relieve herself outdoors, especially on grass.
Jolie may be skittish around adult males due to past experiences, so proper introductions to male strangers are highly recommended. Treats can be helpful in these situations, as Jolie loves food.
Jolie is a unique and lovable dog who is sure to bring joy to her new family. If you are interested in adopting this three-legged beauty with big prick ears, please watch Jolie's videos to learn more about her. You can also contact us for more information or fill out the adoption form on our website. Thank you for considering giving Jolie a forever home!
