Meet Gotti – A Big-Hearted, Gentle Soul Looking for a Forever Home

Introducing Gotti! This 69-pound lovebug, estimated to be 6 to 8 years old, is thought to be a unique mix of Basset Hound and American Bulldog. Rescued from a tough hoarding situation, Gotti is a sweet, calm companion who enjoys the simple pleasures in life—a cozy dog bed and short outdoor strolls. He’s a quiet guy, seldom barking, with the laid-back demeanor of a Basset Hound.

Recently neutered, heartworm negative, fully vetted, and both house- and crate-trained, Gotti is ready to become someone’s loyal friend. He’s great with other dogs, and though he’s gentle around children, his size makes him best suited to a home without kids. Gotti needs a person or couple who can give him all the love and attention he’s missed.

We are a RESCUE ORGANIZATION; please complete your online Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. We require an adoption application, vet reference, and a home visit with the pet. ALL of our pets are spayed, neutered or scheduled prior to being adopted. They are UTD on shots, heartworm negative, treated or scheduled to be treated, and micro chipped. They must be kept on heartworm preventative for the rest of their lives. Our adoption fees vary. Puppies have an increased adoption fee since they need three or four sets of shots, multiple de-wormings, and other puppy needs to keep them healthy.

CPR is an animal rescue organization run solely by volunteers. Our primary goal is to save dogs from euthanization at shelters as a result of factors such as a lack of funding and space. These wonderful animals are put at risk because they have no one to claim and adopt them. We aim to give them the second chance that they so deserve. Our animals come to us from shelters around DFW and stay in foster homes where they are given the medical attention (vaccinations, surgeries, heart worm testing, etc) and care that they deserve.
