My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Batgirl, your personal entertainer. I'm a bit of a goofball, always finding new ways to make you laugh. My curiosity is my superpower. It leads me to the most unexpected play spots. I might be an adult, but don't let that fool you. My playfulness is contagious, turning even the simplest objects into toys. My antics are sure to brighten your day. I'm not just about fun, though. I'm also your companion, ready to explore new worlds with you. Why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and a dash of adventure. I'm ready to be your sidekick, are you ready to be my hero?

More about this rescue

P.A.W.S. is an Indiana not-for-profit corporation doing business in Hancock County. We are not affiliated with any national organization. The Internal Revenue Service has recognized P.A.W.S. as a 501(c)(3) organization. This means that donations made to P.A.W.S. are deductible as provided in sec. 107 of the Internal Revenue Code. P.A.W.S. programs are funded completely from memberships, donations, grants and fundraising events. Our mission is to promote animal welfare in Hancock County through humane education and pet population control by:
Developing and providing humane education programs that teach kindness to and respect for all living things.
Helping animals housed in animal care shelters by promoting shelter adoptions and by providing improvements to shelter facilities, training for shelter staff and volunteers.
Promoting shelter and community based pet sterilization programs.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
We are always in need of temporary foster homes for dogs, cats, kittens, bunnies, and guinea pigs! We also need cat litter [both scoopable and unscoopable], bleach, paper towels, and, of course, CASH OR CHECK DONATIONS OR GIFT CARDS TO WAL-MART OR PETSMART.

Donations help defray the costs of providing necessary veterinary care, shelter and food for the homeless pets in our care. Donations are tax deductible.
