We adopted Dagmar in October 2021 when she was just over 6 months old (born 5/11/2021). The original owner had a lot going on - multi-older cat household, limited time spent with Dag, multi diet & litter changes and out of litter incidents.
*ALSO, Dag is a Savannah, her parents, Sir Nero & Kashette, are from a cattery in Owen, WI. The Savannah breed isn't an available option on this platform.
We were able to offer Dag a less chaotic environment - stable food & litter, one sibling much closer to her age and more 1v1 playtime but the out of litter box issues still persist.
They don't happen often but when they do, there's no apparent reason, except for one time. She mostly poops outside the box but 1/5 of the incidents have been urine.
Dag may be best suited in a one cat home.
