Meet Jack, an adorable and energetic almost one and a half-year-old male seeking a home to call his own! Jack is an affectionate, playful and loving dog who is looking for a person to embark on the journey of life. He will do best in a consistent environment where he can have lots of exercise, structure, and love. Jack is doing his best working on his training and needs a person who can help him continue being the best boy!
His fosters love the progress he makes "we've been training Jack a little bit. He is very good with "sit" now, and we have been saying "look at me," only giving him the treat when he takes his eyes off it and looks at whoever is holding the treat in the eyes. Then, we have taught him "wait," slowly backing away from him and saying "release" when it is okay for him to come to us, then we give him the treat. He struggles a little bit with "wait" because of his impulse control, but he is slowly improving."
Come by and see if Jack is the perfect fit for you!
