Reeses Puppycups is such a special girl of about 8 1/2 years old that was dealt a really rough paw in life. Her owners abandoned her when they were evicted from their home. Reeses was a real mess when she was finally discovered but we got her fed, cleaned up, and all of the good medical care she needed too. Reeses had some masses that were removed and they were found to be malignant. They are gone, but the areas will need to be watched closely in the future. Reeses is so forgiving, loving, kind, gentle, and just an all-around great girl that loves people. She's truly a doll of a dog. Unfortunately, she does not enjoy the company of other pets but it's likely that she lived with kids because she's so great and gentle with people. She's still active, silly, playful, and fun-loving too, but she's content to just chill out and lay at your feet too. She doesn't ask for much, just a family to love and care for her always. We require a completed adoption application which can be obtained at our facility, or from our website: www.ahscares.org. We also require proof of home ownership if you own, or a copy of a lease stating that pets are allowed with no restrictions if you rent. We require vet records for any pets owned in the last five years as well. Our adoption fees vary based on age, breed, etc. Please call our facility for exact fee 609-693-1900.
