Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rubble!
Rubble was born in March of 2023, and he is an American Bulldog and lab mix. He weighs approximately 60 lbs. of squishy love that wants nothing more than his own person to snuggle. He is microchipped is fostered in Millington, MD.
Rubble lived with a young woman in North Carolina that was facing eviction, and hence was transported to us to ensure placement into a loving home.
Rubble flew in a small plane and was trying to help fly the plane, but otherwise was perfect! He is a strong boy and will need to learn leash manners.
Rubble loves all dogs and is even very gentle when playing with a 5 lb. Chiweenie. You have a cat? No problem, he loves them too. He just goes with the flow.
Rubble is crate trained but he really doesn’t like it. Foster mom is now leaving him out when she goes to work, and he is being such a good boy.
He loves everyone he meets, kids of all ages, men and women. There isn’t a person he hasn’t met that he didn’t love. Because of his size and exuberance when seeing people, he may hurt small children, so we suggest dog-savvy older kids.
Rubble is very treat-motivated and is so gentle when taking them out of your hand.
Rubble would like nothing more than his own family.
PLEASE NOTE:
We review veterinary care for applicants. This includes regular well visits, up-to-date and consistent core vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm and tick-borne disease testing, and regular monthly heartworm prevention.
You MUST contact your vet to give them permission to speak to us for the vet check BEFORE we call them. We will not be able to call veterinarians multiple times and we would hate for an application to be turned down because no authorization is on file with the vet.
Application can be found at www.puppypawsrescue.org
If your application meets our adoption criteria, we will contact you within 1 week. You will then be asked to schedule an interview and virtual home visit. Please check your SPAM folder for emails from PuppyPawsRescue. Due to the volume of applications, applications that do not move forward to an interview, may not hear back from us within that time frame.
Our team is an all-volunteer team, managing families, our paying jobs, households, foster dogs, application processing, interviews and home visits, follow-up, transports, and much more. We ask that you be courteous and patient with us.
