My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sponsor Me
Skye is 110% love with a dash of sass. Her wiggle butt will make you laugh. Because she is deaf she will be your shadow. She is extremely affectionate and a fantastic nap taker. She gets the “zoomies” in late afternoon and goes for a walk to let her energy out. She loves going for car rides and she really loves getting a pup cup at Starbucks drive up windows.

Skye lives with a resident male boxer but will need slow introductions to new dogs.

Skye’s ideal forever home will be with someone willing to continue with her training so she can be safe and reach her full potential. She loves belly rubs, kisses, car rides and walks. Her blue eyes and squishy face will melt your heart.

More about this rescue

NorCal Boxer Rescue provides a temporary sanctuary for Boxers in need throughout California. Boxers come to us from shelters and from owners who are no longer able to care for them. We provide these animals with veterinary care, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, a microchip, a temporary foster home at a private residence, lots of love, and placement into a carefully screened home forever.

NCBR is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers who have an unmatched love for preserving this wonderful breed. If you have a heart for animals, we invite you get involved in whatever capacity you can.
