Hi, my name is Ninjargo! I’m a chipper, affectionate 4 year old who has had quite the journey! I was trapped as a youngster for TNR, and then escaped. I got re-trapped, and I was pretty feral so I was released back outside after I was neutered. But I kept coming back around for food, and over the years, I started letting the food people get close to me and eventually pet me. After a bit I started following them around, and meowing for loves and pets, and they knew I was ready to complete my transformation to a family kitty!
So they brought me indoors, and I’m enjoying being warm, and seeing people more often! I’m very gregarious, and I definitely need a home where I can have lots of interaction and affection. I LOVE to talk, and I will have whole conversations with you. I even like to be a part of doing chores; one of my helpers calls me her best dishwashing assistant! I’ll be great company and keep you entertained even during the most mundane household chores.
I love food and I seem to especially enjoy wet food! Temptations treats are also a favorite. I haven’t really had a chance to do much playing yet, but I hope we can try out some new games and toys together and figure out what my favorite is!
I’ll need a pretty calm home, with adults only or very calm kids 12 and up. I get along great with other cats, with proper introductions, of course. I’m not sure I’d be a big fan of dogs. I like cozy spots for sleeping and nice windows to look out on the world. I have so much love, affection, and fun to share with a forever family. Come meet me, and let’s chat to see if we might be each other’s happily ever after!

‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯
We have an adoption application to learn a bit about the home our cats will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor-only clause along with a vet promissory note that ensures you will continue with the medical care and spay/neuter if needed.
We DO NOT do any out of state adoptions except on the NC border on a case-by-case basis.
We require a donation of $120 for adoption of unaltered kittens with a PTV Contract. All kittens receive vaccine series and wormings as well as medical treatment as needed. The adopter is responsible for obtaining their rabies vaccine and spay/neuter if the kitten is not of age at the time of adoption. We can provide resources for low cost clinics that offer these services.
We ask a donation of $25 to adopt Career/barn cats.
We require a donation of at least $140 for adoption of Spayed/neutered cat.
Bonded pairs adoption donation is $200.
Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along. We encourage bringing the whole family!

More about this rescue
Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce feral cat population in Hampton Roads by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens for adoption into loving forever homes. We are a VDACS registered 501c3 nonprofit, founded in 2014 with over 60 foster homes.
Our heart is in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return of ferals), where cats are fixed, vaccinated, ear tipped, and allowed to live out their lives without reproducing. We are advocates for advancing legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads. Our unique feral kitten socialization program has a 90% success rate in socializing feral-born kittens to become loving, in-home pets.
We are always seeking fosters, volunteers, transporters, and trappers to join our team!
We also appreciate donations! Find our most needed items
