My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Reece (short for Shereece). I am a very sweet girl, docile and polite. I'm timid, but enjoy making new friends, both the human and the furry kind. Once I warm up, you will love my gentle demeanor and chill vibe. I don't mean to brag, but I've stolen many hearts with my shy charm and irresistible puppy dog eyes. Don't let my little mohawk fool you. I'm not your typical party animal and barking is not my style. I'm more of a wallflower who enjoys quiet nights in and deep conversations about the meaning of life. I'm the ultimate companion for easy going walks, road trips, and lazy Sunday cuddles. If you're looking for a low-maintenance roommate who won't throw wild parties or make a mess, I'm your girl! I'm a two year old german shepherd mix and I'm house trained like a pro! I'm also very good at walking on a leash. I keep the pace and don't pull. My foster family appreciates how smart, quiet, and well behaved I am, especially when it comes to bath time. They say I'm a loyal and loving friend who will bring a touch of sweetness and tranquility to any home. Before SOCA, I was found under a house with my puppies. They have all been adopted, and now it's my turn for a loving family to open their doors and hearts to me. (Having a doggy sister or brother would be a plus.) My life got off to a rough start, and through it all, I've remained kind and hopeful. I deserve a family that will love me as much as I will love them.

My adoption fee is only $200 and that includes all my vaccines, spay/neuter, and microchip. What a steal! But there's only one of me, so fill out an app at: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SQYPSGVQ

Additional adoption info

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
