Nadia von Naila is a stunning and sweet 3 year old sable German Shepherd. Nadia is a gentle, sensitive soul who is ready to repay your love and attention tenfold. We don’t know what her past life was like, but she is doing her best to start over here at the rescue. Nadia stays close to your side on leash. Sometimes she likes to be petted during her walk so she can be assured you won’t disappear into thin air on her. Once she becomes more comfortable, she enjoys her time exploring and will even wag her tail a little. In her playgroups she is a great greeter, tho so far she prefers getting to know people, and the key to her heart is to pet her, comfort her and tell her what a good girl she is being! We can’t wait to see what loving family Nadia joins because she will become such a wonderful dog when she blossoms out of her shell. Come to meet Nadia soon!
Nadia von Naila is in a foster home, offsite, and is NOT at our rescue location in Los Angeles.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN Nadia von Naila YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE: www.sheprescue.org
Based on our experience, Westside's current thinking is to usually match first-time shepherd owners with a mix versus a purebred shepherd. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.

In order to adopt any dog from Westside German Shepherd Rescue, one must fill out an adoption application first. Upon receipt of your application, a Westside adoption counselor will contact you.We do aerial home checks and you may be asked to supply pictures as well as arranging for a home visit prior to adoption.
Adoption fees vary with each dog and typically range from $150 to $500. They are set, taking into account the dog's age, training level, temperament, if they’re newly arrived, medical condition(s) (if any) and other factors. Adoption fees are used not only to rescue and place the dog you are personally adopting, but to aid in the future rescue and rehabilitation of other deserving dogs. Adoption fees are necessary; without fees, our rescue efforts would quickly come to an end. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccinations.
