My story

Meet Jet, an adorable 8 month old, 5.6 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Georgetown, TX. Currently Jet is believed to have a liver shunt which will require surgery. He cannot be adopted until this issue has been resolved. Only Texas applicants will be considered.
I want you all to meet the sweetest little puppy that United Yorkie Rescue has lovingly named Jet. We are praying that this little baby boy will be able to live up to that name! Jet is just an adorable little 5lb, supposedly 8mth old Yorkie that is really ill. He has spent the better part of the past 2 weeks in the ER and has been diagnosed with high bile acids, which means we are looking at a congenital liver shunt. Jet is currently on medication which has started to improve his walking today. This is just a blessing. This baby is just full of love and giving the sweetest kisses. We hope these meds will help, which they normally do, until we can get surgery on board so Jet can be the puppy that he deserves to be! We have our consultation next week with Internal Med then we will move quickly for the testing and surgery.
