This charming guy loves toys, knows how to sit, walks beautifully on a leash, can catch treats mid-air, and absolutely lights up when he makes you smile. He's also crate-trained and enjoys his time in there.

Bandito is ready to leave his cramped shelter kennel behind and embrace the love and excitement of a real home. He's had positive experiences living with other dogs before, but he'll need a meet-and-greet to ensure he and your dog will be the best of friends.

Step one:
Browse our available animals online. Our website has more details on every animal, including any known history with dogs, cats, and kids, as well as individual adoption fees. Visit https://www.austinpetsalive.org/adopt

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
