It's a bird, it's a plane -- no, it's Pilot! This goofy 2 year old, 35 pound terrier/pittie mix is always prepared for takeoff, ready to play with any available human or dog! He's house and crate trained, super curious and brave, and would make an excellent adventure buddy. And while he is in treatment for a skin condition, he is doing amazing and with a continued regimen of medicated baths, his coat will continue to grow in more and more every day. Pilot is looking for a loving home that can provide tons of head scritches and a structured routine-don't miss your chance to add this precious pup to your family!

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
