My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Taffeta is a medium haired calico beauty with a fluffy tail. She is gorgeous! She loves to play and loves other cats. Although she is shy of being pet she will sit in front of you, pose and make eye contact. Before she was spayed and suffered a setback, she was friendly and touchable. Having gotten an infection in her spay incision has made her wary of human interaction. She is, however coming up to sniff a hand when approached. This is quite an improvement in only the span of 2-3 weeks. We are working on earning her trust. The lucky person who adopts her will certainly be the object of her desire. She is quite food motivated. In Taffeta’s case, food is the way to her heart.

Foster homes.

2.

Submit Application

The application requires a vet reference and two non-family personal references. Our app asks for employment info, address & year started.

Additional adoption info

We also like to meet other family members and room mates. If someone is renting, we check with the landlord to be sure pets are allowed. We adopt out 2 kittens at a time to prevent boredom and loneliness. One kitten can be adopted only if there are other pets in the family.

More about this rescue

We are Lauren’s Lost Cats Rescue. It is our mission to reduce the population of cats on the streets, while simultaneously educating communities about TNRV. For those cats that are friendly, we find fosters and/or permanent homes.
