My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Juju was left in a soft carrier on the doorstep of our President, Lauren Warner. There was a note attached stating that Juju was left behind after her human died. She was allowed to stay in her home alone until it was sold. At that point she was taken in by a couple other people who found she had a difficult time getting along with resident cats.
Juju is described as a a plump, sweet elderly lady who can tolerate other cats, until she cannot. Lauren has both fosters and personal cats and finds Juju does surprisingly well with their presence. If a cat gets too close and JuJu isn’t feeling it, she swats them. They eventually figure out it’s easier to stay away from her.
She is really quite adorable, with her little nose and bright green eyes! Pet her and she is yours forever. Juju deserves a home. She definitely was depressed upon arrival, missing her mama human. We think it’s time for her to have a comfortable place to rest her head!

Additional adoption info

We also like to meet other family members and room mates. If someone is renting, we check with the landlord to be sure pets are allowed. We adopt out 2 kittens at a time to prevent boredom and loneliness. One kitten can be adopted only if there are other pets in the family.

More about this rescue

We are Lauren’s Lost Cats Rescue. It is our mission to reduce the population of cats on the streets, while simultaneously educating communities about TNRV. For those cats that are friendly, we find fosters and/or permanent homes.
