My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mabel has been a delightful surprise! Initially thought to be feral, she has a warm, loving and sweet disposition. Her meow is somewhat gruff and throaty. She decisively likes dry cat food, though she is open to a bit of wet once in a while. She was previously spayed, but had no microchip.
Mabel wants you to know that her days outdoors are over. She is quite content indoors and would love to be apart of a loving family.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Foster homes.

2.

Submit Application

The application requires a vet reference and two non-family personal references. Our app asks for employment info, address & year started.

3.

Interview

We speak to the adopter by phone and again in person.

Additional adoption info

We also like to meet other family members and room mates. If someone is renting, we check with the landlord to be sure pets are allowed. We adopt out 2 kittens at a time to prevent boredom and loneliness. One kitten can be adopted only if there are other pets in the family.

Go meet their pets

Should you like to meet a particular cat or kitten, we have a localized meeting place where adopter and kitty can meet. Just call to schedule an appointment.

More about this rescue

We are Lauren’s Lost Cats Rescue. It is our mission to reduce the population of cats on the streets, while simultaneously educating communities about TNRV. For those cats that are friendly, we find fosters and/or permanent homes.
