My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Firstly, Lucas is the cutest cat I’ve seen, bar none. He has big Disney eyes and a cute little snout…He has a cute little way about him. That gives you an idea that he remembers being a kitten. By day he is Feral, he stays under the couch and he hides. But by night he comes out he rubs against your face, he purrs, he pushes his head into your hand to be Pet. It’s like having two different cats. He would most likely do best in a household with either one or no other cats. Sudden or loud movements scare him.
He’s awesome. He’s cute and he’s cuddly, but he’s also not available to you all the time. However, being in a house with less cats than this Foster has, would probably provide him with the room and quiet that he needs to come around.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Foster homes.

2.
Submit Application

The application requires a vet reference and two non-family personal references. Our app asks for employment info, address & year started.

3.
Interview

We speak to the adopter by phone and again in person.

Additional adoption info

We also like to meet other family members and room mates. If someone is renting, we check with the landlord to be sure pets are allowed. We adopt out 2 kittens at a time to prevent boredom and loneliness. One kitten can be adopted only if there are other pets in the family.

We are Lauren’s Lost Cats Rescue. It is our mission to reduce the population of cats on the streets, while simultaneously educating communities about TNRV. For those cats that are friendly, we find fosters and/or permanent homes.
