Hello out there! My name is Octopus, and I am looking for a family that is as loving and adventurous as I am! My likes are: play time, waving my eight legs at the fishes in the sea, cuddles, squeaker toys, and splashing in the kiddie pool! I am always down for a hike in a state park, or a deep sea dive, so if that is your thing too then I know we will get along great! Stop by MAC anytime to hang out with me in my favorite big yard!

Fill out a Meet Your Match questionnaire, spend some time getting to know the pet you are considering taking home, and talk to an adoption counselor.
Each animal will leave the Center spayed or neutered, vaccinated, heartworm (dogs) or FeLV/FIV (cats) tested, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks, given heartworm preventative if applicable and microchipped.

McKamey Animal Center in Chattanooga, TN, first opened its doors to the city’s homeless pets in July 2008. A leader in animal welfare both locally and nationally, the nonprofit shelter’s mission is to enhance the lives of companion animals and people by encouraging a culture of responsibility and compassion. As an open admission facility, the Center provides animal services and care for any animal in the city of Chattanooga regardless of age, breed, health, and temperament. McKamey has a number of thriving programs to benefit companion animals and people including adoption, foster, rescue, trap-neuter-return for feral cats, and humane education.
