Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Parker is about 1 1/2 years old. He was found living in a rural area outside all alone. It took him while to get used to people, though slowly but surely, he is coming around. Parker is a very playful and affectionate boy who loves other cats! He does need an experienced cat person to continue to break him out of his shell. However, he is very scared of dogs, but would do well with kids over the age of twelve. Please submit an application at pawshs.org and NOT a Petfinder inquiry as they may not be answered due to the volume of these inquiries received.
Our adoption fees include the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies for cats / dogs over 4 months of age), flea prevention, worming, FeLV/FIV testing, heartworm test for dogs over 1 yrs old, and microchipping. The location of our Adoption Center PAWS at 7282 N. Cherryvale Mall Drive . Check out all of our adoptable dogs, cats and kittens on our website at www.pawshs.org. You can also contact us on our hotline: 815/299-PAWS.

More about this rescue
We are a volunteer foster based rescue group that helps animals in need in the Winnebago and Boone county areas.
Our main focus is spay /neuter assistance since we do not have a shelter.
We are often times confused with the local county shelter.
We have fosters for both cats and dogs...and do have a feline adoption center inside the PETCO on E State St.
We have monthly adoption events throughout the year.
