My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Doubloons
Breed: GSD x Farm Dog Mix
DOB/Sex: Dec 22, 2023/M
Known Health Issues: None at this time.
Good With: Cats! Dogs! Kids!
NO DOG PARKS

Doubloons is one of 8 puppies born on a farm. He was surrendered with his mom, Bounty (small GSD), at 6 weeks of age.

Doubloons is a little firecracker! He is sassy, and opinionated, but has a wonderful sweet side. He is easily a favourite, and always makes himself front and center. He's up for attention and cuddles, but also loves to run and explore!

Doubloons is incredibly handsome and he knows it! He will throw his good looks around to get his way, and is looking for a partner to guide him with training, so he can be the best version of himself he can be! He engages well, and is so excited to learn about the world around him. He wants to be where the action is at!

Doubloons is generally aloof with strangers, and is not the type of dog that wants a bunch of people randomly running up and petting him like a golden retriever. But as long as he is well advocated for, he's easy to take out and about in the world! He is looking for a handler that is going to continue to build his confidence, and give him lots of opportunities to explore the world!

He would pair well with a fun-loving canine partner, or is able to go solo. He has not yet met cats yet, but with proper introductions and training will be just fine. Kids welcome with boundaries and rules in place.

His successful adopter must be willing to bring him in for his neuter to our vet in St Catharines. This is included with his adoption.

He is trying hard to win my heart, but I know his forever family is out there! If this little cutie has caught your eye, please apply today!
