My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gigi is an adorable little Bichon/Poodle mix who's 8 years young and weighs 12 pounds. This sweet girl was brought in as a stray to the Lancaster shelter. That certainly was no place for a little princess like Gigi but, unfortunately, all the younger little ones were adopted and she was left behind.

The shelters are so overcrowded they're having to put down dogs faster than in the past. Thankfully Gigi came to our attention in time. When we had her examined by our vet we discovered the reason her tongue hangs out is because she has a malformed lower jaw that does not extend the normal length. It causes no problems for her and she eats normally.

Gigi is a gentle, loving girl who loves to cuddle with her humans. She is equally gentle and kind with other dogs and loves to share toys with her furry friends. Gigi loves everyone she meets and wants to let them know how special they are by following them around and sitting next to them or preferably on their lap! She's housetrained and wee-wee pad trained. Gigi just wants to please and would make a wonderful fur-ever family member.
