Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tamale! This adorable Puggle guy was found running stray, starving, struggling with some skin issues. We’ve been giving him a lot of TLC over the last 2 months & are now ready to help him ease into his forever home. We truly feel he had experienced some sort of trauma while he was on his own as it’s taken him a minute to trust & love again. We are uncertain of his age, but guessing anywhere between 3-6. He weighs in at about 30ish pounds. He’s pretty true to the Puggle breed with his somewhat stubborn personality & affectionate nature. He’s active, excitable and friendly with other dogs. His stinking cute underbite makes him a face to remember! He does have a timid side in new situations that make him less than comfortable. The ideal home for Tamale would be-
🫑 Adult only home. We are unsure if he would be suited for a home with children.
🫑 Tamale needs exercise & mental stimulation. He’s an active dude, his couch potato years are not upon him just yet. Once fulfilled he’s happy to snuggle up with the person he loves.
🫑 Tamale can be a bit untrusting, also a little obsessive with his caregiver. He needs someone who can be patient to let him blossom into the dog he should be. Our rescue has been a stepping stone to his eternal happiness.
🫑 He gets along well with other dogs, but doesn’t seem to buddy up with them. We think it’s just a lack of comfort socializing in his past. Maybe a calm, inviting buddy is just what he needs 🤷🏻♀️ or he’d probably do fine as an only pet. We have not introduced him to cats.
Regardless of what his former life consisted of, he’s ready to experience the life he’s always deserved.
🚨 If you’re interested in applying for adoption of Tamale, you can fill out an application 2 ways-
Visit our website to fill out electronically-
➡️ www.Canineliberationleague.com
Or email us to request one-
➡️ Canineliberationleague@gmail.com
Once we receive a approved application for adoption, we proceed with a vet check, and then a meet and greet of the adoptable dog. Just because you apply for a dog does not necessarily mean you will be contacted, as we are in search of the most suitable home.
🌶️ Tamale is current on all his vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, and Bordetella. He has been neutered, microchipped, fecal and heartworm tested!
