Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tika!
Hello there, my name is Tika! I'm a senior lady now, weighing 55 pounds. Much like the meaning of my name, sun maiden, or flower, I am as beautiful as they come. And pretty perfect if I do say so myself! I'm good with all dogs, big or small, and I'd likely do well with kids, too. But cats, well, I'll just say "no thank you" about them. I'm the very best girl and go potty outside. I'd love having a fenced yard to run in, but I also am fine with walks and going to the dog park!
I love my humans, and since I was always a loved member of a family until my owner passed away, I can't wait to be a part of a family again! I love being with my foster mom, but she says that I'm ready to move on to a forever family of my own. I live in an apartment here, and I don't make a single peep, but I'd really love to live in a house with more room. I love to snuggle with my people, but I also really enjoy my crate! Sometimes, I'm hesitant to jump on the furniture, so I may need a little encouragement or even a little boost up by you to watch a good episode of FRIENDS. That's what we will be forever! The best of friends. And if you have another doggo that I can be friends with, well, that's just an added bonus!
*Tika will be traveling to WI on March 3rd and can go to her forever home then.
