My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Frankfort, the 1-year-old Pit Bull mix who is as adorable as he is energetic, weighing in at 37.1 pounds of pure, playful charm! Despite his missing eye, Frankfort's zest for life is nothing short of extraordinary. This spunky pup is a master of crate training and is fully housetrained. His energy levels are off the charts, and he thrives on both mental and physical stimulation.

Frankfort is a true goofball at heart, bringing endless joy and laughter to everyone around him. Whether it’s chasing after a ball, going for thrilling car rides, or simply snuggling up after a day of adventures, he’s always ready to brighten your day. He’s been great with kids at adoption events, shining brightly with his friendly and adaptable nature. His eagerness to please and quick learning make him a fantastic companion for a home with kids aged 6 and up. He might not be the best match for feline friends.

Although he’s got some energy to burn and can be a bit of a whirlwind, Frankfort is improving every day and is making great strides in his socialization and training. His playful spirit and loyal heart are sure to make him a beloved member of any family. A fenced yard is a must for this playful pup to stretch his legs and let off steam.

If you’re looking for a high-energy, affectionate furry friend who’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and a little bit of chaos into your life, Frankfort is your guy. Apply to meet him today and discover why he’s destined to be your new best friend! His minimum adoption fee is $95, plus a $15 fee for rabies registration for McLean County residents if he’s 4 months or older.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
