Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ruger. He was taken in with his brother and buddy Kimber. Ruger is a 3 1/2-4 yr old, 70-75 lb mushy lab mix. Tends to be lower energy. Ruger has a little goofy and quirky personality. He tends to get excited about visitors. Ruger enjoys all of the pets and giving kisses, chasing and talking to birds, taking leisurely walks, sunbathing, playing with doggy siblings, chewing on a bone, or being a couch potato. He has become accustomed to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle in his foster home. Ruger would enjoy a home with a nice yard or land with doggy friends, plenty of affection, and a nice couch or bed to call it a day on. He is vetted, neutered, microchipped, house trained, kennel trained, walks on a leash, and knows basic commands. Ruger would make a great loving companion. If you would like to meet this sweet guy and make him part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ . He is located in North Alabama with transport available to your area. Friends of Rescue requires a virtual home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.
