My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

AVAILABLE  April 10, 2024

April, May and June are 12-year old sisters who have never been apart.  They will need to be adopted together as they are very bonded and would be heartbroken to be separated. Their foster mom says they are easy to care for and get along with other dogs in the household.  All are up to date with vaccines, spayed, and will have had dentals before adoption.  Flea/Tick/Heartworm monthly preventatives are being given.  Get your application in soon for this sweet TRIO.

June has the cutest little underbite!  She is pretty friendly with strangers as long as they are gentle with her. She is very happy, active, agile and spry for a 12 year old. Every time her foster mom sits on the couch, June jumps on the couch, snuggles up close to her foster mom and makes a little grumbly sound until her mom pets her. If you didn't know her age, you certainly wouldn't guess her as 12! When a human isn't available, she snuggles with her sisters. They love to sit together on 'their chair'.

June is non-shedding, cat and dog friendly, pretty much house trained and sleeps quietly through the night in the kitchen with her sisters. Her ideal home will have a fenced in yard (she likes being outside - even in the snow!). She will definitely need practice leash walking.  June is the one on the left in the picture with 2 of them.

Due to  some spinal myelopathy June has some loss of bowel control and is unaware she may be leaving some 'gifts' as she walks outside to do her 'business'.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.

Applications are the first step in the adoption processPlease do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.

 Thank you!

Additional adoption info

Filling out an application is the first step. An online application is located on Haven to Home's homepage. Application, references, home visit and adoption fee are required to adopt one of our dogs. Due to the severe overpopulation of dogs in this country Haven to Home believes that responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered. Therefore it is our policy not to adopt our dogs to people who do not have their current animals spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason. Adoption fees are listed on our website.
