My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hashbrown. He is a special little guy who falls in love with everyone he meets. He's small at only around 30 lbs and has the face of a puppy. He's literally a forever puppy! Hashbrown came to the rescue as a small pup born with spinal malformations (think scoliosis in people). After consulting with specialists and lots of physical therapy, sadly, it was determined that he would never be able to walk like a normal dog. But that's ok! He is super fast with only use of his front two legs and has a pretty rad wheelchair, that will stay with him when he is adopted. He is super fast, and he doesn't know he is any different than any other dog.

Hashbrown can go to the bathroom on his own, but his foster mom expresses his bladder every day to help with controlling when he goes. This may sounds super scary, but its SO EASY and we can show you how! It only takes. a minute or two. If not, he can live without being expressed and wears belly bands to keep him clean! Now all his care stuff is out of the way, let's talk about how amazing and wonderful he is.

Hashbrown is super loyal. Animals are so resilient and Hashbrown is no different. He runs in the backyard and loves going for walks. He sleeps on a dog bed next to his foster's bed at night and sleeps all through the night. He loves snacks and treats, and his foster mom feeds him snacks in food puzzles that he always figures out. He's so smart. He gained a following on social media with his cute bunny hop videos of him as a baby in a wheelchair. This even landed him in the WeRateDogs segment on Ryan Seacrest's New Year's Rockin Even in 2023! Basically you could adopt your own mini celebrity, lol.

Special needs animals aren't really any different than other animals, and Hashbrown would love to find a forever home of his own. He would really make a great travel buddy and a new best friend!
