Ok everyone, time is ticking and its time to find some sweet pups homes to welcome them to New England. Pickle will be arriving March 7th to New England and this great pup needs a home. Preferably his forever but always welcome and are in need of fosters. Will anyone give this boy a place to land. An all around great boy who would have lost his life for mere space if this Village didn't step up for him. I mean come on, look at those ears and eyebrows! Will you help complete his journey? Pickle
• 10 month old, Mix
• Dog & cat friendly (haven’t been around kids, but I think he’d be great)
• Medium to high energy
• Potty trained
• Nondestructive (doesn’t need crate)
• Doesn’t bark
• Leash trained
Pickle is very outgoing and friendly. He loves tug-of-war with his toys and sticks the yard. And loves to wrestle with dog friends. He would benefit from an adventurous person/family and/or a canine sibling to play with. Pickle was code red for space, and kennel neurosis, so I haven’t had him in a crate. I let him decompress in my foster room, which is a spare bedroom with a dog gate in place of the door. He also stays there at night and during the workday. He does well and sleeps most of the time, but paces at the gate some too. He’s never tried to break through or jump it. He’s still a little spooked by the kitty, and sometimes plays a little rough with her. He responds very well to verbal correction. Pickle never barks, but talks back when he’s getting lectured, or when another pup is getting affection. It’s very cute. He’s a great, fun dog who loves the outdoors and is going to love the snow!
