Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abby is a very sweet loving girl. She came to us from animal control. She's the perfect size. Abby is such a sweet girl and a joy to be around. Loves to play with stuffed animals and run around outside. Plays well with other male dogs. Doesn't care for females. Perfect size for an inside dog.
We love her big pointy ears! She's so loving and settles down nicely. Would make someone a great lap dog. Has a lot of energy so would need a fenced in yard. Abby is a kisser! She is also Animal selective. She doesn't care for other female dogs. Does better with a male dog. Abby is the perfect size, small is about 20-25 lbs.
It takes her a little while for her to get to know you. She can be cautious of new people and she's a little shy. She is very treat motivated and very smart, so she would learn all your habits quickly. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and has been spayed.

More about this rescue
The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
