Hello there, my name is Kimber. I may be 6 years old but I have plenty of life left in me. I`m dog friendly, I prefer the calmer ones like me. My foster properly introduced me to cats and I thought they were fine to hang out with. I`ve done well with children of all ages. It would be great to find a nice, relaxing home to take my naps in. I`m a pretty easy going gal. I`m already house and crate trained so you don`t have to bother with that. I love my people, just being near them is fantastic. Please come say hello!

We try to make the process as smooth as possible and we want to set you and your new pet up for success. We always recommend doing a meet and greet with your dog before adding a new dog to your home and we are always happy to help with that.

We are a municipal shelter that takes in 2500-3000 animals a year. We are a small shelter with a dedicated team that works hard to keep the citizens and animals of Clay County safe and healthy. We rely on foster families and adopters to help us continue the work that we do.
