My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a running or biking partner? An Energizer Bunny dog that can keep up with your ATV?

Handsome Carter looks like a beagle and acts like a whirling dervish! He came to our shelter after his owner lost his housing, and FAAS has had him for almost a year. He's a resilient fellow, but he needs a loving forever home. Can you love Carter?

* 3 years old
* 62 lbs
* super energetic & needs daily exercise
* loves roughhousing with other big dogs
* loves people
* loves toys, especially balls!
* older kids okay (plays too roughly for little ones)

FAAS offers free canine training with every dog adoption. Help Carter achieve his full social potential with classes at your local canine charm school and FAAS will reimburse you up to $200!

Meet Carter any afternoon but Mondays at FAAS, 1590 Fortmann Way in Alameda, California. He is eagerly waiting for you.
