pretty boy!

March 2023 I rescued Pretty Boy from an advertised domestic violence situation in a nearby eastside apartment. He is crate and leash trained, and likes to get on the couch if you let him. But I have to work 8 hours a day and cannot let him have the run of the house for that long.

When I let him loose in my fenced in acre, he runs like the wind around my acre for about 5 min. with my 10mo old husky mix Loves to have tummy rubs..he immediately gets down on his back for these within 10 seconds of petting him . He's a little shy at first around strangers, but responds well to petting with gentle talk.
I learned to keep the front gate chain closure chained at all times or Pretty B would push his head against an unchained gate, open it , etc.
