Estimated birth date: 6/1/22

Personality: Elroy is more on the shy side, but he will let you pick him up and hold him. He is a big boy and is a great snuggle buddy. He loves his veggies and free roam time.

Favorite treats: Anything you will give him

Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Guinea Pig Food, Fruit, Veggies, Leafy Greens, Western Timothy Hay

Favorite toys and activities: More of a couch potato.

Potty trained: No

This animal’s daily routine: Breakfast, fresh hay at 7:30am, dinner at 7:30pm and fresh hay, pellets and supplements at 10pm.

BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Elroy may prefer to live alone due to being a very dominant guinea pig.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Cat, dog - did not seem to care. He was very dominant with the guinea pig he was previously trying to bond with.

Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Yes - Great with school ages children

Other Notes: Elroy takes some warming up, but once he has warmed up to you he will eat out of your hand and will readily allow you to pick him up and cuddle with him.

Elroy came to MNPPR as a transfer from another rescue.

Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart - 299 12th St SW, Forest Lake, MN 55025 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
